I used to think this would be able to stand up to the "Outlook":Outlook hegemony, but I find the current "GUI":GUI hopelessly confusing. And what's with the need for a separate "Intel":Intel package?

"Last time I looked":links/2007/09/12/1458 "Chandler":http://chandlerproject.org/ wasn't looking good usability-wise, and now seems to be tanking. Regardless of what anyone says, six years without a usable application (or a user base) is a waste of time.

This kinda slipped beneath the radar. I couldn't care less about the "Wi-Fi":Wi-Fi management (I think that anything that messes with system preferences is risky at best), but the screen sharing bit is something I can make use of. And it is nice to see the "Mac":Mac client getting some new features before the other platforms for a change...

"Two years or so ago":blog/2007/06/15 when I was managing part of the go-to-market activities of our "DSL":ADSL project in what concerns a good portion of the enterprise stuff, I had the opportunity to deliver a few internal rants about this being one of the obvious ways forward (i.e., beyond voice and data). Glad to see it come to fruition.

Been mulling this for a few days, watched the video a couple of times (skipping over most of the pep talk), and realized that this reminds me a _lot_ of some of the old "CSCW":CSCW concepts, re-spun inside a browser and jazzed up. It all seems overly complex, and busy, too, which may hinder adoption. Let's wait and see.
