Ye Gods, I know some pretty weird people. And to think that I've done nothing but reject friend requests for a couple of months now... Neat use of "MooWheel":http://www.unwieldy.net/moowheel/, though.

This infographic (taken from "here":http://tgrblog.com/2009/06/01/wwdc-2009-3rd-generation-iphone-rumor-round-up/) is simply brilliant, and I wish this sort of thing was done a lot more often - _especially_ the list of references for each rumor. I hope they do a follow-up rating the credibility (or lack thereof) for each reference.

This just keeps getting better and better and better. Nicolas is creating something that I hope will eventually do away with a lot of the junk some people use to do "Flash":Flash and "Java":Java based "UIs":UI for workflows and the like, and deserves more recognition. Besides, these things _fly_ in "Safari":Safari 4.0.

Hilariously true, and one of the reasons I often spend long spells of time running a script that just kills "Safari":apps/Safari repeatedly (via "Justin":people/Justin_Blanton) - and, incidentally, this is the thousandth link blog entry I've posted ever since I gave links their own namespace "two years ago":blog/2007/07/10 (here's "the first":links/2007/07/09/1350).

The thing about these comparisons is that you can put _whatever you want_ as criteria and make everyone look bad (or single out a particular company). For instance, none of them make toilets, have a presence in the foodstuffs market, deal in hedge funds (well, maybe "Apple":Apple - they sure have enough cash) or manufacture datacenter-grade routers (well, "Google":Google is having custom gear done, but isn't selling it). So the article is pointless enough to begin with, but the point here is that you have to compare apples with apples (if you'll pardon the pun), and there are some grapefruits and bananas in there...
